Register for Courses

How to Register

The College of Charleston Fire and EMS has implemented an new automated registration process. Please visit cofc.enrollware.com in order to register for any CPR or First Aid courses.

Pre-Registration

All students are encouraged to pre-register for any course they wish to take. While we may be able to accomodate you as a walk-in student, there may be situations in which there will be no space remaining or in which the course was canceled due to no/low enrollment. The College of Charleston Fire & EMS reserves the right to refuse any unregistered student on the course date.

Payment

Payment for courses offered by the College of Charleston EMS may be made by:

  • Credit Card
  • Cash - Please note that you will be making payment via cash in the comment box during registration
    • Space is not guaranteed until payment is received
  • Check - Please note that you will be making payment via check in the comment box during registration

Certification Cards

Certification cards are issued for all American Heart Association Heartsaver and BLS courses. The College of Charleston Fire & EMS will make every effort to have these cards available immediately following course completion. In the event that cards are not available on the course date it will be mailed to the registered address as soon as it is available. In some instances the card may be provided to the requesting College of Charleston instructor or department head/representative.

Refunds 

A full tuition refund will be granted if cancellation is requested, in writing, seven (7) or more calendar days before the course start date. Seventy-five percent (75%) of the course tuition will be refunded if the cancellation is received, in writing, six (6) or fewer calendar days before the course start date unless registration can be transferred to a qualified substitute. All cancellations must be made in writing. The student will be responsible for the cost of any books not returned in the condition they were received. No refunds will be granted after the course begins. No-shows and cancellations on the course start date are responsible for the full tuition amount.

Course Cancellation

The College of Charleston EMS reserves the right to postpone or cancel any class if registration is insufficient. If, due to insufficient enrollment, a program is canceled a full refund will be made, minus the cost of any books issued but not returned.
